STRAITS RESOURCES LIMITED (ASX: SRQ)

Strategic Review

Straits Resources Limited (“Straits” or the “Company”) has engaged Investec Bank (Australia) Limited (“Investec”) to undertake a review of the strategic options available to the Company to strengthen its capital structure and identify opportunities to best maximise value for Straits’ shareholders.

Investec’s appointment has been made following discussions with a number of parties who have expressed interest in funding and potential transactions. To oversee and implement the strategic review, an independent sub-committee of the Straits board consisting of Chairman, Alan Good and board members Susan Vearncombe and Colin Wise has been formed.

Straits will provide updates on the strategic review as appropriate.
