RESULTS OF $60 MILLION RENOUNCEABLE ENTITLEMENT OFFER TO BE ANNOUNCED TOMORROW

Straits Resources Limited (“Straits” or “the Company”) refers to the $60 million fully underwritten 1.55 for 1 renounceable entitlement offer announced on 7 September 2012 ( Entitlement Offer ).

The Entitlement Offer has received strong support from existing shareholders and Straits is currently in the process of processing cheques and reconciling applications received under the Entitlement Offer. The Company expects to be in a position to release an announcement to ASX tomorrow confirming the results of the Entitlement Offer.
