Advanced Blockchain AG secures 4.3 million Mantis tokens: Innovation through cross-chain interoperability and AI integration in the DeFi sector
Berlin, February 14, 2025 – Advanced Blockchain AG (“ABAG”, Scale Frankfurt, Primary Market Düsseldorf, XETRA: ISIN DE000A0M93V6), a leading incubator and investor in the blockchain industry, announces that Mantis, a project within its portfolio company Composable Finance, has completed its Token Generation Event (TGE) on February 11, 2025. As part of the event, Advanced Blockchain AG received 4.3 million Mantis tokens ($M), which have been tradable since February 12, 2025. The tokens were awarded to ABAG during two financing rounds as well as through incubation and consulting services provided. Most of the tokens received are subject to vesting and are not initially tradable. As part of the TGE, ABAG unlocked over 140,000 $M tokens, while the remaining tokens will be successively released over the next 30 months according to the vesting schedule.
Mantis is a Solana-based cross-chain protocol that enables cross-blockchain transactions through the IBC protocol. It connects networks such as Ethereum, Polkadot and Cosmos and thus makes a significant contribution to improving interoperability in the field of decentralized finance (DeFi). The integration of the DeFAI Interactive Search Engine (DISE) allows the use of AI-supported agents that automate and optimize processes – a decisive advantage for the efficiency and scalability of decentralized applications.
Advanced Blockchain AG invested USD 2 million in Composable Finance in June 2021 and received 5.7 million LAYR tokens in return, of which the first partial sales took place in 2022. The Mantis token ($M) replaces the originally planned LAYR token. Composable Finance relies on a modular DeFi infrastructure that enables seamless communication between different blockchains and sustainably strengthens interoperability in the DeFi sector.
The Mantis launch underlines the innovative power of this ecosystem, creates new growth opportunities in the DeFi sector and strengthens the position of Advanced Blockchain AG, which will continue to participate in the growth of Composable Finance and benefit from the potential of the Mantis token and future developments in the field of decentralized finance.
