DRILLING ACTIVITIES UPDATE

Drilling to commence at Prospect Creek in the next week
-
ActivEX wins Queensland Government Drill Funding for Lake Monduran Project
PROSPECT CREEK DRILLING PROGRAM
ActivEX Limited (ASX: AIV) is pleased to announce that drilling is planned to commence at its Prospect Creek project in the next week. The planned program consists of 3 holes at the Prairie Creek Prospect and 6 holes at Gossans West Prospect and should start during the week commencing 10[th] September 2007.
At Prairie Creek Prospect , mapping and sampling of quartz epidote veining and silica flooding in several areas has returned anomalous gold results which are targeted in the current program. The targets are along strike to the north and northeast of previous drilling by CRA Exploration which recorded significant gold intercepts (e.g. 52 m @ 2.1g/t Au).
At Gossans West Prospect , alteration pipes over multiple centres with widespread, significant alteration caps and epithermal quartz textures are targeted. Drilling is aimed to test anomalous zones of low level gold, arsenic and mercury interpreted to sit above high grade bonanza-style epithermal targets.
Drilling is expected to take ten days.
ACTIVEX WINS QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT DRILLING FUNDING
ActivEX has been successful in gaining a grant of up to $55,000 under the first round funding of the Queensland Governments Cooperative Drilling Initiative. The funding, which is for up to 50% of the direct drilling costs, is for a drilling program at Lake Monduran, near Bundaberg. The targets for drilling are greisenised granite with associated sheeted quartz veins carrying molybdenum mineralisation with related tungsten and gold mineralisation. Soil sampling in the area has delineated a 2.1km zone of anomalous molybdenum associated with the greisen with anomalous gold and copper values on the adjacent sediment contact. Geological mapping of the zone has refined the drill-hole locations to optimise testing of the quartz vein sets and greisen zone. Drilling is expected to commence in early 2008.

EPM APPLICATIONS
ActivEX has been granted a new Exploration Permit (EPM) from recent applications at Ban Ban in south-east Queensland. An adjacent application at Blairmore has been offered for grant which is expected to occur in the next few weeks. In addition, the Company has applied for and has priority over a further EPM application south of its Booubyjan Project area, further consolidating its position in this region. The areas are considered highly prospective for porphyry-style gold-copper deposits.
