Appointment of Dr David Xiaoxuan Sun as an Executive Director

Accent Resources NL (ASX: ACS) ( Accent or the Company ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr David Xiaoxuan Sun as an Executive Director of the Company, commencing 1 April 2026.
Dr Sun served as President of the China Chamber of Commerce in Australia (CCCA) Perth Branch from 2013 to 2024 and is currently Honorary President. He has also held advisory roles with Curtin University and is an Honorary Research Fellow at the UWA Business School. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
Dr Sun spent 23 years with Sinosteel, including as Managing Director of Sinosteel Australia and head of all Sinosteel Australian entities from 2019 to 2024, where he advanced major iron ore projects in Western Australia. He stepped down from this role in 2024 and now serves as a non-executive director of ASX-listed Global Lithium Resources (ASX: GL1) and Energy Metals (ASX: EME).
This appointment reflects Accent’s commitment to strengthening Board expertise as it advances the MRP Magnetite Range Project ( ) in WA to deliver premium, DRI grade magnetite concentrate (targeting >70% Fe) at coarse grind sizes -supporting lower energy intensity and improved emissions outcomes for steelmaking.
Key duties to be undertaken by Dr Sun include:

Participating in the design and implementation of the Company's strategic priorities;

Operational excellence and optimisation of the management and contractor teams;

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and risk management;

Investor Relations (IR) and Public Relations to elevate the Company’s profile; and
-
Participating in the achievement of key milestones in the development of the MRP and other projects.
Incoming director Dr Sun said, “I am humbled and excited to be asked to join the Board of Accent and contributing to the future strategic direction of the Company.”

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 3.16.4, material terms of Dr Sun’s Executive Service Agreement are as follows:

| Appointment | Dr Sun has been appointed as an Executive Director, commencing 1 April 2026. |
| Term | The appointment is ongoing with no fixed term. |
| Fixed Remuneration | $450,000 per annum (plus superannuation). |
| Short Term Incentives (STI) | Eligible to participate in the Company’s STI Scheme at such time it is offered. Any award will be at the discretion of the Board and will be subject to shareholder approval. |
| Long Term Incentives (LTI) | Eligible to participate in the Company’s LTI Scheme at such time it is offered. Any award will be at the discretion of the Board and will be subject to shareholder approval. |
| Notice Period | Dr Sun may resign at any time on giving three (3) months’ notice. The Company may terminate Dr Sun’s employment without cause by giving three (3) months’ notice. The Company may also terminate Dr Sun’s employment without notice in certain circumstances. The Company may elect to pay Dr Sun in lieu of part or all of the notice period. |
| Post Employment Restraint | Dr Sun is subject to a 12-month non-solicitation restraint after termination of employment, and a 6-month non-compete restraint after termination of employment. |
An Appendix 3X for Dr Sun will be lodged separately.
