Amber Latvijas balzams - Annual Report with Auditor's Opinion. AS “Amber Latvijas balzams” announces its financial results for the year 2024.

The net turnover of the leading alcoholic beverage producer in the Baltics, AS “Amber Latvijas balzams” (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), reached 78 million euros in 2024, which is 20% less than in the corresponding period of 2023.

The gross profit for the reporting period is 16.3 million euros, which has increased by 1.9 million euros compared to 2023. The gross profit was negatively affected by the decrease in sales volume, but this was fully compensated by the reduction in the costs of the main raw materials and materials used in the production process (compared to the corresponding period in 2023, decreased by 25.8%), mainly due to more favorable raw material purchases.

The operating profit for 2024 is 2.6 million euros, compared to an operating loss of 0.6 million euros in 2023. The operating profit margin for the reporting period of 2024 is 3.4% (in 2023 it was -0.6%).

The net profit for the reporting period is 4.1 million euros, which has increased compared to the corresponding period in 2023 (0.4 million euros).

AS “Amber Latvijas balzams” is one of the largest taxpayers in the country. During the reporting period, the Company paid 73.9 million euros in taxes to the state budget, including 57.4 million euros in excise tax.

The Company will continue to increase production efficiency, focusing on procurement, planning, and infrastructure improvements to achieve its goal: to deliver quality products at competitive prices.
