IGE: IGE Resources AB changes name to Nickel Mountain Group AB - New ticker symbol NMG

IGE Resources AB (publ), ticker symbol IGE, changes with effect from 2 January 2014 name to Nickel Mountain GroupAB (publ). New ticker symbol NMG.

The reason for the name change is twofold. The company's Africa portfolio will shortly be separated as a new, and from Nickel Mountain Group independent company. All shareholders of NMG (IGE) will get an equally large stake in this new company as they have in NMG on a day that will be announced when the final date for the separation of the two companies gets determined and communicated to the market.

Nickel Mountain Group will then primarily focus on the further development of the subsidiary Nickel MountainAB's nickel project in Rönnbäcken. We have, as previously announced to the market, already started and ramped up an investment program focusing on as soon as possible completing a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS), as well as necessary and time consuming studies regarding the comprehensive and for all parties concerned very important environmental application.

Since September this year, we have secured well over SEK 25 million in equity. This means firstly that funding is secured to maintain momentum in the mentioned investment program and secondly that good prerequisites exist to cover the company's operating expenses in 2014.

We, the Board of Directors and Management, would like to thank the shareholders for invaluable support and contributions in the time period after 2August this year when we took over responsibility for what then seemed like an almost impossible task. However, the foundation is now laid for once again being able to generate added value for the company's many owners.

We can therefore start 2014 with a new company name, Nickel Mountain GroupAB - NMG, a new Management with Torbjörn Ranta as CEO from 1 January 2014, supported by Rolf Ritzén heading a highly experienced project team.
