Peter Gille appointed acting CEO of MSAB

The board of MSAB has appointed the current chairman, Peter Gille, as acting CEO with immediate effect. Peter Heuman is simultaneously leaving his position as CEO.

The work to recruit a permanent CEO will begin immediately. As Peter Gille takes on the role of acting CEO, the board has internally appointed the current board member Jesper Kärrbrink as chairman of the board.

"We are grateful for Peter Heuman's contributions to MSAB, but we have not had a shared vision regarding the company's development. We wish him all the best in the future. MSAB stands on a strong foundation and together with Peter Gille, we will now increase focus on our long-term strategy to ensure that we can deliver growth and profit also in the medium to long term," said Jesper Kärrbrink, new chairman of the board.

"Together with the board and management, I will lay the foundation for a long-term strategy that takes into account the ongoing changes in the industry. With MSAB's strong history and financial position, we see great opportunities ahead of us, both in the short and long term, and we are determined to seize these to continue our growth and development," said acting CEO Peter Gille.

Peter Gille has been a board member of MSAB since 2020 and has been chairman since 2023. He has previously been the CEO of Cambio and Nexus Technology and has extensive experience from leading positions at Oracle. Jesper Kärrbrink, who has been on the board since 2023, has previously been CEO of Mr Green, Euroflorist, Eniro, Svenska Spel, Bonniers Veckotidningar, Metro International, and Östersunds-Posten.
