Margaret is a former partner of Ernst & Young (EY) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), with a combined 35 years of service at these firms. She was a partner for 21 years in transaction advisory and corporate finance—initially at PwC, and during the final 11 years of her career at EY.
A Canadian chartered accountant by training, Margaret began her career in audit before relocating to Hungary in 1989. Her professional focus subsequently shifted to privatization and corporate finance. Over the past three decades, she has advised on hundreds of transactions and supported clients across a wide range of industries in strategic and investment decision-making. In addition to leading corporate finance and transaction advisory teams in Hungary, she held various regional leadership roles in Central and Eastern Europe.
Margaret currently serves as an Independent Member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee at Masterplast Nyrt; as an Independent Board Member at Kometa Zrt; and as an Independent Member of the Supervisory Board and Chair of the Audit Committee at CIB Bank (a subsidiary of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group). She is also a member of the Independent Oversight Advisory Committee (IOAC) of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). Her previous board roles include service on the Supervisory Board of Impact Ventures, a social impact-oriented venture capital fund, and United Way Hungary.
