Appointment of a new member of the Supervisory Board of mBank S.A.TheManagement Board of mBank S.A. (“the Bank”) announces that under aresolution of the Bank's Supervisory Board of 24 September 2018, MrGurjinder Singh Johal was appointed as the member of the SupervisoryBoard of mBank S.A., as of 24 September 2018, until the end of thecurrent term of the Supervisory Board.

Mr Gurjinder Singh Johal has graduated from the University of EastLondon (UEL), Business & Finance faculty and Said Business School,managerial studies. He started his career at Standard Bank London in1995 before moving to Commerzbank in 2007. He initially assumedresponsibility of the Emerging Markets & Credit Derivatives segment,from 2011 he headed the Global Credit Trading desk. Since 2016 GurjinderSingh Johal has been divisional board member and head of Group MarketRisk Management at Commerzbank AG.

To the best of the Management Board’s knowledge, Mr Gurjinder SinghJohal is not involved in any activities which compete with those carriedout by the Bank.

In accordance with the criteria applied by the Bank, Mr Gurjinder SinghJohal is not an independent member of the Supervisory Board of the Bank.

Mr Gurjinder Singh Johal has no records in the Register of InsolventDebtors maintained under the National Court Register Act.
