A letter from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority regarding thepayment of dividends by banks

The Management Board of mBank S.A. ("Bank") informs that on March 26,2020, the Bank received a letter dated March 26, 2020 from the PolishFinancial Supervision Authority ("PFSA") in which the PFSA presented itsposition regarding the payment of dividends by banks.

Considering the current situation, related to the state of the epidemicannounced in Poland and possible further economic consequences of thisstate, as well as their expected impact on the banking sector, the PFSAexpects that banks, regardless of any actions already taken in thisrespect, will retain all the profit from the previous years. The PFSAalso expects that banks will make no action that may result in weakeningof the capital base.
