Informacje dot. paszportyzacji licencji EMI

Zarząd Aforti Holding S.A. z siedzibą w Warszawie, zwanej dalej "Spółką", "Emitentem" w nawiązaniu do raportu bieżącego ESPI 63/2021 z dnia 23 grudnia 2021 roku informuje, że w dniu dzisiejszym powziął informację od Aforti PLC, spółki zależnej z siedzibą w Wielkiej Brytanii, dotyczącą unijnej instytucji pieniądza elektronicznego, posiadającej licencję wydaną na podstawie obowiązujących dyrektyw UE w sprawie usług płatniczych i pieniądza elektronicznego ("EMI"), dotyczącą złożenia w dniu dzisiejszym wniosku do Centralnego Banku Cypru o paszport licencji EMI do pozostałych krajów Unii Europejskiej.

Paszportyzacja licencji EMI pozwoli, ze strategią Grupy Kapitałowej Aforti, rozwijać działalność w 11 krajach Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej oferując takie usługi jak: wymiana walut, factoring, prowadzenie rachunków wielowalutowych, przelewy walutowe.

Nabycie EMI jest częścią strategii Grupy Aforti, której celem jest osiągniecie pozycji ogólnoeuropejskiego dostawcy kompleksowych rozwiązań finansowych dla Małych i Średnich Przedsiębiorstw. O dalszych etapach inwestycji Emitent będzie informował w kolejnych raportach bieżących.

Information regarding the EMI license passporting

The Management Board of Aforti Holding S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw, hereinafter referred to as the "Company", "Issuer", in reference to the ESPI current report 63/2021 dated 23 December 2021, announces that it has today received information from Aforti PLC, a subsidiary based in the United Kingdom, regarding an EU electronic money institution licensed under the applicable EU directives on payment services and electronic money ("EMI"), regarding the submission today of an application to the Central Bank of Cyprus to passport the EMI license to the rest of the European Union.

The passporting of the EMI licencse will allow, in line with the Aforti Group's strategy, to develop its activities in 11 East-Central European countries offering services such as currency exchange, factoring, multi-currency accounts, and currency transfers.

The acquisition of EMI is part of the Aforti Group's strategy to become a pan-European provider of comprehensive financial solutions for Small and Medium Enterprises. The Issuer will inform about further stages of the investment in subsequent current reports.
