MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. ("MOTA-ENGIL") informs that its subsidiary EMPRESA CONSTRUTORA DO BRASIL has signed another contract with Petróleo Brasileiro, S.A. (Petrobras), worth approximately 1.56 billion reais, equivalent to approximately 240 million euros.
The new contract, which will have an estimated term of 60 months, comprises the execution of engineering, preparation, recovery and final removal services, namely the offshore collection, transportation, dismantling and collection of leftovers from approximately 420 km of flexible lines (pipelines, hydraulic umbilical's, electrical cables and similar), as well as subsea components / equipment, in the offshore oil fields of Marlim, Marlim Sul and Marlim Leste, which are located at depths comprised between 700 and 2,000 metres.
With this contract, and following the positive performance achieved in several projects executed or under execution for Petrobras, MOTA-ENGIL continues to strengthen its backlog in Brazil, which already amounts to approximately 900 million euros.
