MOTA-ENGIL INFORMS ON FORMAL PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN ASCENDI AND ARDIAN

MOTA-ENGIL informs that, after obtaining the required authorizations from grantors and financing entities in 2015 and in order to enforce the partnership established between Ascendi and Ardian, in practice since May of that year, a share capital increase, fully subscribed in cash by Ardian, took place today in the special purpose vehicle on which the below mentioned concessions companies that were part of the deal had been already transferred:

• Auto-Estradas da Grande Lisboa
• Auto-Estradas do Grande Porto
• Auto-Estradas do Norte
• Auto-Estradas da Costa de Prata
• Auto-Estradas das Beiras Litoral e Alta

These concessions companies, jointly controlled by ASCENDI and Ardian since 2015, are from now on under the management of ASCENDI PT II, SGPS, SA, a company owned by the two partners.
