MOTA-ENGIL INFORMS ON AGREEMENT TO SELL INDAQUA

MOTA-ENGIL informs that, following its strategy for the Environment Area, reached today an agreement with Group Miya to sell its stake in INDAQUA – INDÚSTRIA E GESTÃO DE ÁGUAS, SA (INDAQUA) for a consideration of 60 million euros. The closing of the deal depends upon obtaining several authorizations from the grantors and financing entities and should be concluded before the end of the first half of 2016.

INDAQUA controls 6 concession companies in the water segment, in 7 Portuguese municipalities with around 600 thousand inhabitants.

With this transaction, MOTA-ENGIL keeps implementing the strategy that intends to focus its Environment Area resources in the waste collection, treatment and recycling segment.
