MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. ("MOTA-ENGIL") informs that MOTA-ENGIL ENGENHARIA E CONSTRUҪAO AFRICA S.A ("MOTA-ENGIL AFRICA") has been appointed as mining contractor and signed a mining services contract with Société AngloGold Ashanti de Guinée S.A. (a subsidiary of AngloGold Ashanti Limited) to be the exclusive provider, via its Guinean entity (wholly owned by MOTA-ENGIL AFRICA), of mining works and services (including the provision or use of all mining fleet, minor plant and equipment) at its Siguiri gold mine in the Republic of Guinea. The estimated value of the contract is US\$210 million over a period of 56 months.
We also mention that MOTA-ENGIL African subsidiaries were recently awarded several smaller projects, from which we must highlight some contracts in Angola worth around US\$130million.
With this increase in the region's backlog, in more than €300 million, MOTA-ENGIL strengthens its goal of resuming the turnover growth in Africa and in the GROUP.
