MOTA-ENGIL INFORMS ON A NEW CONTRACT IN ANGOLA WORTH 270 MILLION EUROS

MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. (MOTA-ENGIL), through MOTA-ENGIL ENGENHARIA E CONSTRUÇÃO ÁFRICA, S.A. (MOTA-ENGIL AFRICA), hereby informs that the last legal steps leading to the execution of a contract for the modernization of the Soyo Port facilities, in northern Angola, have been concluded.

The contract totals 270 million euros and includes three main activities: dredging, construction of quays and buildings and infrastructures. Full funding of the project is provided by an Export Credit Agency.

The confirmation of the award of this contract in all its extension is another relevant example of MOTA-ENGIL'S commercial dynamics in Africa, and in Angola in particular, a country that reaffirms its position as a pillar of the GROUP'S development. In addition, smaller contracts were also awarded recently in Angola, Uganda, Mozambique and Malawi, totaling around 180 million euros, so that in the African region the backlog grew 450 million euros.
