MOTA-ENGIL INFORMS ON A NEW ENVIRONMENT & SERVICES CONTRACT IN BRAZIL WORTH 122 MILLION EUROS

MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. ("MOTA-ENGIL") hereby informs about the signature, by CONSITA, its subsidiary for the Environment & Services area in Brazil, of a new contract for waste collection and cleaning in the Federal District (Brasília).

The contract amounts to around 122 million euros and will include waste collection, selective collection, manual and mechanical cleaning, road cleaning, among other services. The works, corresponding to lot 3 of a comprehensive contest for the collection of waste throughout the Federal District (Brasília), will last for five years and will begin this October.

With this contract in Brazil, the Environment and Services area in Latin America has already increased its order book by 150 million euros in 2019. Globally, MOTA-ENGIL's Environment & Services area has already an amount of around 4 billion euros of turnover to be executed, of which 850 million euros corresponds to service contracts and 3.15 billion euros is the estimated turnover for the length of the concessions under exploration by the MOTA-ENGIL.
