MOTA-ENGIL INFORMS ABOUT THE AWARD OF NEW CONTRACTS BY A MAJOR MINING COMPANY IN PERU, IN A TOTAL AMOUNT OF 125 MILLION EUROS

MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. ("MOTA-ENGIL"), informs about the award to its subsidiary MOTA-ENGIL PERU of three new contracts by a major private mining company operating in Peru for a total amount of 125 million Euros.

The works now awarded correspond to the Construction of the Corridor, Dam and Water Management ("Construcción del Dique Corredor y Manejo de Aguas") and the Design and Construction of a Hospital ("Estudo e Construcción de Hospital"), will begin immediately and have a duration of 33 months.

With these awards and other smaller works recently awarded, MOTA-ENGIL PERU increases its order book in circa of 150 million Euros, supporting the long-term partnership maintained with the main mining companies active in Peru, which enhances the recovery of the GROUP's turnover in a region especially affected by the current pandemic.
