MOTA-ENGIL INFORMS ON INVESTMENT AGREEMENT WITH CCCC (CLARIFICATION)

MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. (MOTA-ENGIL) corrects and clarifies the information of yesterday's release about the additional step in the accomplishment of the Investment Agreement (Agreement) established with China Communications Construction Company, Ltd. (CCCC).

Thus, it took place yesterday the sale of 55 million shares by its reference shareholder, MOTA GESTÃO E PARTICIPAÇÕES, S.G.P.S., S.A. (MGP), to EPOCH CAPITAL INVESTMENT B.V. (EPOCH), subsidiary at 100% of CCCC and, also as provided for in the Agreement, MGP disposed to EPOCH CAPITAL INVESTMENT B.V. 47,810,041 subscription rights for the acquisition of new shares allowing this company to subscribe 44,426,974 new shares under the Subscription Offer.

With the achievement of this milestone, the full implementation of the Agreement is reaching its conclusion, which should take place, according to the calendar available in the Prospectus published at 3 of May, until the end of the current month.
