MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. ("MOTA-ENGIL") informs that its Brazilian subsidiary, EMPRESA CONSTRUTORA BRASIL, in consortium with a local company, Sea Brasil (90%/10%), has been awarded a construction contract by Petrobras amounting to circa of 913 million Brazilian real, equivalent to 164 million US dollars.
The aforementioned contract, whose scope consists in the provision of services for the collection, processing and final destination and disposal of flexible lines of the "Submarine Warehouses" in the Bacia de Campos, is scheduled to start during this month, will have an approximate duration of 5 years and part of the billing will be in US dollars (circa of 110 million) and the remaining in Brazilian real.
With this award, the GROUP sees recognized its past performance towards one of the most important players in the oil&gas sector in Brazil, as well as, its order book strengthened in the Latin American region with a medium and long-term contract.
