MOTA-ENGIL INFORMS ON THE AWARD OF A CONCESSION CONTRACT IN MEXICO AMOUNTING TO €580 MILLION

MOTA-ENGIL S.G.P.S., S.A. ("MOTA-ENGIL") informs that its subsidiary MOTA-ENGIL MEXICO has been awarded a concession contract, in Nayarit, Mexico, for the Design, Built, Operation and Maintenance of 55 km with a total value of 12.4 billion pesos (€580 million).

The project comprises 26 km of greenfield construction, 18 km of works to be completed and 11km of initial rehabilitation. The expected construction period is of 2 years and the maintenance and operation of 8 years with a total of 10 years.

The project does not have any traffic risk and has a natural hedge against inflation since the availability payments are updated by the real inflation rate.

This award confirms MOTA-ENGIL as a reference player in the construction and operation of infrastructure in Mexico and strengthens the GROUP'S concession portfolio and its backlog in the American continent.
