MOTA-ENGIL INFORMS ABOUT THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT IN PORTUGAL WORTH AROUND 322 MILLION EUROS

Mota-Engil S.G.P.S., S.A. (MOTA-ENGIL) informs about the award to a consortium held by its subsidiary Mota-Engil Engenharia e Construção, S.A., of the "Contract for the Design and Construction of the Extension of the Red Line of the Lisbon subway between São Sebastião and Alcântara" in Portugal in the amount of approximately 322 million euros.

MOTA-ENGIL's stake in the consortium will be 70% and the respective contract is expected to be signed by the end of this year, after completion of certain administrative procedures.

With this award, MOTA-ENGIL reinforces its order book in Portugal, in a particularly challenging time, which demonstrates the excellence of its performance and the quality it brings to the most important infrastructures under development in Portugal and in the world.
