ABO-Group Environment strengthens its expertise in monitoring, instrumentation and auscultation with Dynaopt

ABO-Group acquires the French company Dynaopt, specialised in the development of innovative measurement systems in the field of civil engineering (bridges, tunnels, dams, ...) and the monitoring of natural sites (falling rocks, landslides, floods, ...).

Dynaopt was founded in 1999 and is based in Champigny-sur-Marne, east of Paris. Over the years, the company has developed its expertise in the geotechnical and geophysical field, by developing innovative measurement systems to meet the specific requirements of its customers. Dynaopt engineers define appropriate technical solutions, implement on-site measurement systems and provide assistance for risk analyses.

"With this acquisition, we are strengthening our offer in strategic growth and development segments," says Frank De Palmenaer, CEO of ABO-Group Environment. "Dynaopt's activities also provide crossselling synergies with our group companies in geotechnics and geophysics. The exchange of expertise allows us to better respond to our customers' challenges. Thanks to the sensors and measurement systems developed by Dynaopt, risks can be identified in real time and preventive measures can be taken when, for example, structures such as bridges are at risk of collapse. This acquisition opens the door to many possibilities," says the group's CEO. Didier Dupuis, technical director of Dynaopt, continues: "With ABO-Group as a shareholder, we will be able to accelerate and further develop our R&D projects. We have been working for many years with ABO-Innogeo in the field of geophysics." Dynaopt currently employs 15 people and its two managers will remain on board. With ABO-Group, Dynaopt also intends to expand its activities in Belgium and the Netherlands. This is ABO-Group's third acquisition of specialised offices, following the acquisition earlier this year of the soil department of Colsen BV in Hulst and the specialist in geotechnical interior studies Geo-supporting BV in Lisserbroek, both located in the Netherlands.
