AF Gruppen to build Mektagonen in Gothenburg

AF Gruppen has signed a contract Alecta pensionsförsäkring to erect

a 20,000 m2 commercial building in the Krokslätt district in

Mölndal.

AF has been commissioned to erect an 8-storey office building with

an accompanying underground parking facility. The building, which

will have a floor area of approx. 20,000 m2, will be integrated with

Mektagonen, an existing office building, that also houses a hotel, a

gym and retail outlets.

The project will be a collaborative design and build contract with a

value of approx. SEK 400 million including alterations in existing

office building. Building is scheduled to commence in Q3 2017
