AF Gruppen appointed for at E6 Soknedal

AF Gruppen (AFG) has been appointed by the Norwegian Public Road

Administration as contractor to execute new road E6 through

Soknedal in Trøndelag.

Work will be carried out between Vindåsliene and Korporalsbrua and

consist mainly of road construction including rock tunnel and

concrete works.

Work is scheduled to start in September 2017, and completion is

expected in 2021. There will be traffic on the new road in 2020.

The contract is a general contract and has an estimated value of

NOK 994 million, excl. VAT.

- The project is a good match for AF Gruppen. We have the capacity

to do extensive road and tunnel construction works, and we are

looking forward to cooperate with the Norwegian Public Road
