AF Gruppen awarded new solid wood contract

AF Gruppen awarded new solid wood contract

AF Gruppen (AFG) is awarded by the municipality of Oppegård the

contract for the execution of Edvard Griegs Vei care homes (EGO) at

Kolbotn.

The contract consists of construction of a new building with care

facilities and associated service functions, a day activity center

and home services base. The building contains of 72 care homes of

50-55 m2 with 5 floors and underlying basement. The area of the

building is approximately 10,000 m2, where the four upper floors are

to be built in solid wood. The contract also consists of

construction of the outdoor areas and necessary infrastructure.

Construction will commence fall 2017 with expected completion early

2019. The contract is a general contract with a value of NOK 210

million excl. VAT.
