Multiconsult is set to deliver consultancy services in three contracts with Helse Sør-Øst RHF for the new Drammen hospital

The total value of the work that Multiconsult will complete for the new Drammen

hospital is approximately NOK 30 million to the Multiconsult group (NOK 120

million including options).

Architectural services

Multiconsult ASA's subsidiary LINK arkitektur, together with Ratio arkitekter

and Bølgeblikk arkitekter as subcontractors, has been chosen to deliver

architectural consulting services, starting with pre-design within all

architectural disciplines: building architecture, interior architecture and

landscape architecture. The pre-design phase will begin in January 2018 and last

for approximately 11 months. The contract includes options for six years for

detailed design and follow-up in construction phase. The value of the contract

to the Multiconsult group is approximately NOK 21 million (NOK 78 million

including options).

Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and Water supply and

sanitation (WS&S)

Erichsen & Horgen with Multiconsult ASA as subcontractor has been chosen to

deliver a complete HVAC and WS&S pre-design engineering consulting services with

options for detailed engineering and construction phase. Work on the pre-design

phase will commence in January 2018 and last for approximately 11 months. The

value of the contract to the Multiconsult group is approximately NOK 5 million

(NOK 35 million including options).

Environmental consulting

Multiconsult ASA, with Erichsen & Horgen as subcontractor, has been chosen to

deliver environmental engineering consultancy in the pre-design phase, which

will commence in January 2018. The value of the contract to the Multiconsult

group is approximately NOK 3 million (NOK 7 million including options).

New hospital in Drammen will be a local hospital in the eastern part of Norway

for the municipalities Lier, Drammen, Nedre Eiker, Røyken, Hurum, Sande and

Svelvik and area hospital for the whole of Vestre Viken. New hospital in Drammen

will be designed to meet the need for specialised health services for a

population of approximately 500 500 inhabitants. The new hospital located at

Brakerøya will include both mental health and somatic divisions and the project

has a gross area of approximately 121 000 square meters, of which somatic

division will be approximately 88 400 m2 and psychiatry and drugs approximately

23 000 squmeters.
