New offshore decommissioning project for AF Gruppen

AF Gruppen (AFG) has, in a consortium with Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) signed a contract for removal and disposal of a platform on the UK Continental Shelf of the North Sea.

The contract includes Engineering, Preparation, Removal & Disposal (EPRD) of a platform of about 45.000 ton. The engineering will commence immediately, and the platform is planned to be removed and disposed from 2020.
