AF Gruppen awarded contract for Life Science Building

AF Gruppen has been notified that it has been awarded the contract by Statsbygg for plumbing work in the new Life Science Building at the University of Oslo.

Contract K301 Plumbing Works is a turnkey contract with partnering and covers sanitation, heating, fire extinguishing, gas and compressed air, process and comfort cooling. The contract consists of an interaction phase followed by execution. The contrast has an estimated value of around NOK 300 million.

The new Life Science Building is Statsbygg’s biggest construction project and is due for completion in 2024. The total budget is approximately NOK 7 billion, including user equipment.

The 66,700 square metre building will house 1,600 students and 1,000 employees at the University of Oslo, as well as businesses and other partners.
