Multiconsult is set to deliver consultancy services for County road 47 (Fylkesvei 47) Karmsundgata in Haugesund

Multiconsult Norge AS, as a subcontractor to Risa AS, has been set to deliver

engineering services for Fylkesvei 47 Karmsundgata in Haugesund municipality in

Norway for the Norwegian Public Roads Administration Region West (Statens

vegvesen Region Vest). The value of the contract for Multiconsult is NOK 23

million. Work will begin during summer 2019 and the majority is planned to be

completed within 2020.

The total length of Fylkesvei 47 Karmsundgata is approximately 1.3 km and

includes three major crossings and several large constructions. The project will

be carried out model-based and Multiconsult will deliver detailed engineering

services within all disciplines related to road construction, except electric

and road lighting.

Multiconsult is very pleased to be set for the project and the close

collaboration with Risa AS throughout the bidding phase where the two companies

together, as turnkey contractor and engineering consultant, have developed and

reached preferred solutions.

The contract is subject to a standstill period that expires on 20 May 2019.
