Betonmast to build in Bergen for Bane NOR Eiendom
Betonmast Bergen has signed a contract with Bane NOR Eiendom to build a construction hall (Bergen Verksted) for the new Flirt trains. The contract has a value of NOK 145 million excl. VAT.
The building is being built adjacent to Bergen Station, at the same location as the old building.
The building is approximately 4000 m2 and is 126 meters long, which provides the capacity to accommodate the new Flirt trains as well as other passenger trains that operate the Bergen railway. The facility is packed with advanced and modern infrastructure, and is part of Bane NOR Eiendom's upgrade of nationwide buildings. The building will be ready before Christmas 2020.
- We are happy to be selected by Bane Nor Eiendom for this assignment in Bergen. This is an exciting and demanding project that Betonmast Bergen is looking forward to be embarking on, says Jørgen Evensen, CEO of Betonmast AS.
