Betonmast to build apartments in Gothenburg on behalf of Västerstaden AB

Betonmast, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has signed an agreement with Västerstaden AB to build 97 rental properties in Gothenburg. The design and build contract is valued at approximately SEK 174 million excluding VAT.

The project includes the design and construction of two buildings housing a total of 97 apartments ranging in size from 2-4 rooms plus kitchen. The total gross area is approximately 12,565 sqm. Construction is scheduled to start in Q3 of 2020, and first move ins are due in Q4 of 2022.

“This is the second rental project we have signed a contract for in Gothenburg over a short period of time, and I would like to commend the developers who have been decisive even in these uncertain times.
