Renovation of commercial building in Oslo

Betonmast, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has signed a contract with Anthon B Nilsen Eiendom AS for the renovation and extension of a commercial building in Oslo. The contract is a turnkey contract valued at around NOK 200 million, excluding VAT.

The contract relates to the property at Øvre Vollgate 13 in Oslo’s city centre. The existing building is due to be fully renovated, and an extension is also planned. The building will be classified as a Very Good building in energy class A under the BREEAM NOR certification scheme.

"The size, type and location of this project all suit us very well. We have formed a strong partnership with Anthon B Nilsen through previous projects and are looking forward to getting to work on a new assignment for this client," says Betonmast CEO Jørgen Evensen.

Demolition work is scheduled to begin in April 2021, while completion is set for October 2022.
