CONTINUED GOOD PROGRESS IN FOURTH QUARTER FOR BOUVET

Oslo, 19 February 2021: Bouvet had operating revenues of NOK 645.6 million for the fourth quarter of 2020, compared with NOK 588.5 million in the same period of last year. Operating profit (EBIT) came to NOK 91.6 million, compared with NOK 71.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The 2020 operating revenues increased 12.7 per cent to NOK 2 401.8 million. For the same period, the operating profit ended at NOK 314.6 million, an increase of 35.6 per cent compared with last year.

Bouvet’s operating costs, including depreciation, came to NOK 554 million for the fourth quarter, compared with NOK 517.1 million in the same period of 2019.

The EBIT margin for the fourth quarter was 14.2 per cent, compared with 12.1 per cent in the fourth quarter last year.

Net profit came to NOK 69.1 million, compared with NOK 54.6 million for the fourth quarter of 2019. Diluted earnings per share were NOK 6.66 for the quarter, compared with NOK 5.29 in the same period of last year.
