Building school in Ås

Betonmast, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has been nominated by Ås municipality to build Åsgård primary school in Ås. The contract is a turnkey contract with an expected value of around NOK 330 million, excluding VAT.

The project involves building a new school and a multi-purpose hall totaling 15,200 square metres in size. The school will be built with extensive use of wood and with a passive house standard.

“This job suits us well as Betonmast has long experience with school buildings. We are already building for Ås municipality on another project and look forward to get started with this project as well,” says CEO Jørgen Evensen of Betonmast.

The project is expected to start in June, with completion in June 2023.
