Builds homes in new Uppsala district

AF Gruppen’s subsidiary HMB Construction will build 186 new homes for Wallenstam in southern Uppsala. The contract amount is approximately SEK 200 million, excluding VAT.

The block Kompositören consists of two properties with 186 rental apartments and commercial premises for, among other things, restaurant and café. The block is part of Rosendal, a new and scenic residential area with cycling distance to Uppsala city centre.

The residential buildings have a varied appearance with different heights, materials and colours. The facades are clad in wood, including cedar shavings, which give a warm impression.

The Block Kompositören is HMB Construction's third project for Wallenstam in the Rosendal district.

“Close collaboration in the early stages enables effective production and construction of high-quality homes, which is important for our client,” says Bård Frydenlund, EVP Sweden at AF Gruppen.

Project Kompositören is carried out as a total contract with planned construction starting after the summer and expected occupancy in late autumn 2023.
