Renovation of commercial building in Oslo

Betonmast, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has signed a contract with a large real estate player for the complete renovation and extension of a commercial building in Oslo. This turnkey contract is valued at approximately NOK 485 million, excluding VAT.

The agreement concerns a commercial building in Oslo city centre which comprises approximately 23,000 m2 across six storeys and a loft and cellar. From the 1st floor and up the building will be converted into office space, while the ground floor will be adapted for retail activity in order to bring new life at the street level in this part of the city.

The building will be certified in accordance with BREEAM Very Good.

Construction is scheduled to start August, with completion in the second quarter of 2023.
