New logistics centre contract outside Stockholm

AF Gruppen’s subsidiary Kanonaden Entreprenad will carry out the site preparation and civil engineering work for a new centralised warehouse facility in Bålsta outside of Stockholm. The contract is valued at an estimated SEK 120-140 million, excluding VAT.

The site preparation and construction activities will be carried out on behalf of Logicenters, one of the Nordic region’s leading developers of logistics centre facilities. Kanonaden and Logicenters have worked in partnership on multiple previous projects, including the ongoing logistics project on behalf of Dagab, which is adjacent to this project. The logistics centre is being erected for the plumbing wholesaler Dahl as part of their establishment of a new, highly-automated centralised warehouse.

Site preparation commenced this summer and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2022. The site is expected to be ready for occupancy during the first half of 2023.
