Contract for the foundation of a new city bridge in Drammen

Fundamentering AS (FAS), a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has signed a contract with PNC Norge AS for the foundation work on the new city bridge in Drammen. The client is Drammen municipality. The contract has a value of NOK 112 million, excl. VAT.

The project includes sheet piling, framing of steel piles and drilling of steel core piles, and the new bridge will replace the current bridge between Bragernes torg and Strømsø torg.

Start-up is planned in August 2022 with completion of the entire project in the autumn of 2025. The work will be carried out in several stages from barges and from land.
