Betonmast to build car facility in Gardermoen

AF Gruppen subsidiary Betonmast has signed a contract with Møller Eiendom and Stokke Industri for the construction of a car facility adjacent to Oslo Airport City in Gardermoen. The contract is a turnkey contract with a value of approximately NOK 220 million, excluding VAT.

The project includes the construction of a new car dealership facility for Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Audi and ŠKODA across a total area of 12,000 m2. The plans for this dealership facility will see it built to meet the requirements of Energy Class A, and it will be certified in accordance with the EU’s taxonomy for sustainable buildings and in the BREEAM Very Good class. Construction of the building will be delivered through the use of three load bearing structures.

Construction is estimated to start in the third quarter of 2022, with handover in the fourth quarter of 2023.
