Schibsted ASA (SCHA/SCHB) - Schibsted appoints Per Christian Mørland as new EVP CFO

Today, Schibsted has appointed Per Christian Mørland as Executive Vice President

and Chief Financial Officer.

Mørland has held a number of leading strategic and operational roles in Nordic

and global companies through his career. He is currently Group CFO at Telia in

Stockholm. Prior to his current role he has held positions such as CFO Telia

Norway, CFO for Telenor Asia, and Telenor Denmark.

"Per Christian brings outstanding experience as CFO in big, listed and global

companies to the table in Schibsted. In addition to his broad and relevant

background, he will bring both energy and a competitive and commercial attitude

with him to the Executive Management Team and to Schibsted at large. Per

Christian has been exposed to complex organisations for a number of years, and

has a strategic and analytical mindset. I am thrilled to welcome him to

Schibsted and my Executive Management Team", says Kristin Skogen Lund, CEO at

Schibsted.

Mørland is 43, and holds a Master of Science degree from Norwegian School of

Economics and Business Administration (NHH). He succeeds Ragnar Kårhus, who in

January announced that he wanted to step down.

Mørland assumes the role at Schibsted no later than 1 October 2023. Kårhus will

remain as EVP CFO until Mørland joins. As previously communicated, Kårhus will

stay on as senior advisor in Schibsted.
