To build school in Kristiansund

Betonmast, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has been nominated by Kristiansund Municipality for the construction of primary school in Kristiansund. It involves a turnkey contract valued at approximately NOK 200 million, excluding VAT.

Goma primary school in Kristiansund will replace two schools in Kristiansund, Dalabrekka school and the existing Goma primary school. The existing school must first be demolished before a new school is built on the same site. The total gross area is 5,100 m2, and the school will be able to house 400 students.

“It is very gratifying to be able to contribute to another major and important community project for Kristiansund Municipality. We have just finished a school of a similar size in the neighboring municipality Averøy and are really looking forward to starting the project in the autumn”, says Peter Sandrup, CEO of Betonmast.

Construction is estimated to third quarter of 2023, with completion in the second quarter of 2025.
