PRESS RELEASE

Banca IFIS takes part, on a pro-quota basis, in the resolution process of four Italian banks

Mestre (Venice), November 27, 2015 - Banca IFIS announces that the cumulative impact of its lending support to the banking system in order to resolve the crisis of Banca Marche, Banca Popolare dell'Etruria e del Lazio, CariChieti and Cassa di Risparmio di Ferrara (59/201/UE Single Resolution Fund Directive) and its participation in the new FITD financing mechanism introduced by the 2014/49/UE Directive for deposit guarantee systems (DGSD) will be approximately 10 million euro.

Contributions to the Fondo di Risoluzione Nazionale (National Resolution Fund) so far requested from Banca IFIS, including extraordinary contribution, equal a total of 8,5 million euro. About 2 million euro relates to the 2015 yearly ordinary FITD contribution.

Banca IFIS, dedicated to collaboration and transparency towards stakeholders and regulators, stresses that the impact will be partially offset by non-recurring gains and, therefore, there will be no negative effect on the bank's profitability. Banca IFIS's commitment remains focused on further increasing its profits thanks to the results expected from its core businesses – trade receivables, distressed retail loans and tax receivables – whilst continuing to maintain excellent capital ratios thanks to its sustainable business model. Banca IFIS considers that the previously announced dividend distribution policy will remain firm.
