Banca IFIS closes a deal with Banco Popolare purchasing about 152 million euro of NPLs

Mestre (Venice), June 20, 2016 – The dynamic activity of Banca IFIS in the Non-Performing Loans sector continues also in the summer months. After buying 466 million euro (nominal value) of deteriorated assets from Locam a week ago, the banking institute closed another purchase deal in the primary banking market.

The subject of the deal is a NPL portfolio of a nominal value of about 152 million euro corresponding to about 9.000 debtors, composed mainly of current account overdrafts (76%).

The deal testifies Banca IFIS's commitment in the Non-Performing Loans sector and the ability of its NPL Area to create valuable synergies with Italian and International players active in the primary and secondary domestic NPL market.

The ability to manage the positions in Banca IFIS's owned portfolio – over 1 million – is guaranteed by the expertise developed by the company in the NPL sector and by a team of professionals who work respecting indisputable ethics.
