Acquisition of GE Capital Interbanca S.p.A.: authorization issued by Bank of Italy and ECB. Completion due by November 30

Mestre, (Venice), November 29, 2016 – In relation to the purchase of GE Capital Interbanca S.p.A. made public on July 28, 2016, Banca IFIS announces that today the Supervisory Authorities – Bank of Italy and European Central Bank – have issued the authorization for the completion of the operation. The implementation of the authorization does not include prudential measures. The authorization from the Supervisory Authorities follows that of the Antitrust Authority, issued in October 2016. Completion is due by November 30, 2016.
