Dati preliminari dell'esercizio 2016: fatturato consolidato a € 391,9 milioni

Bagnolo in Piano (RE), 31 gennaio 2017 – Il Consiglio di Amministrazione di Emak S.p.A. (MTA, STAR), società a capo di uno dei maggiori gruppi a livello globale nei settori dell'outdoor power equipment, delle pompe e del water jetting, e dei relativi componenti ed accessori, ha esaminato in data odierna i dati preliminari consolidati dell'esercizio 2016.

Il fatturato consolidato del Gruppo è stato di € 391,9 milioni, in crescita del 2,7% rispetto a € 381,6 milioni dell'esercizio 2015.

Il 2016 ha visto crescere tutte tre le aree di business del Gruppo. Nello specifico, le vendite del settore Outdoor Power Equipment sono risultate in crescita del 1,2% rispetto all'esercizio precedente, principalmente per la buona performance nei mercati Europei ed asiatici.

Il settore Pompe e High Pressure Water Jetting è cresciuto complessivamente del 3,2%, beneficiando sia della crescita organica che del contributo delle vendite del primo trimestre della società Lemasa, non incluse nel pari periodo 2015.

Le vendite del settore Componenti e Accessori sono aumentate del 4,8%, trainate soprattutto dai buoni risultati ottenuti dagli accessori per decespugliatore.

La posizione finanziaria netta passiva è in significativo miglioramento rispetto a quella dell'esercizio precedente, per merito della buona generazione di cassa e dell'efficiente gestione del capitale circolante netto.

Il dirigente preposto alla redazione dei documenti contabili societari, Aimone Burani, conferma che i dati di preconsuntivo qui esposti sono la migliore rappresentazione ad oggi disponibile dei risultati del Gruppo e che, pertanto, gli stessi potrebbero essere soggetti a limitate variazioni in sede di approvazione del progetto di bilancio che si terrà in data 16 marzo 2017.

Il Gruppo commercializza i propri prodotti a livello mondiale attraverso 28 società, più di 150 distributori e oltre 30.000 rivenditori specializzati e conta 1.693 dipendenti. Nel 2015 il Gruppo ha realizzato vendite per 381,6 milioni di euro.

Preliminary figures for the year 2016: consolidated sales to € 391.9 million

Bagnolo in Piano (RE), 31 January 2017 – The Board of Directors of Emak S.p.A. (MTA, STAR), parent company of one of world major groups working in the sectors of outdoor power equipment, pumps and high pressure water jetting, and of the related components and accessories, today reviewed the preliminary consolidated results for the financial year 2016.

The Group consolidated turnover was € 391.9 million, an increase of 2.7% compared to € 381.6 million in 2015.

2016 has seen growing all three business areas of the Group. Specifically, sales of the Outdoor Power Equipment business were up 1.2% on the previous year, mainly due to the good performance in European and Asian markets.

The business Pumps and High Pressure Water Jetting grew overall by 3.2%, benefiting from both organic growth and the contribution of the first quarter sales of Lemasa, not included in the same period in 2015.

Sales of Components and Accessories business increased by 4.8%, mainly driven by the good results obtained from accessories for brush cutter.

The net negative financial position was significantly improved compared to the previous year, thanks to the good cash generation and the efficient net working capital management.

Aimone Burani, the executive responsible for the preparation of the corporate accounting documents, confirms that the preliminary figures presented here are the best representation available today of the results of the Group and that, therefore, could be subject to limited changes during the approval of the draft financial statement, which will take place on March 16, 2017.
