Dati preliminari dell'esercizio 2017: fatturato consolidato a € 422,2 milioni

Bagnolo in Piano (RE), 31 gennaio 2018 – Il Consiglio di Amministrazione di Emak S.p.A. (MTA, STAR), società a capo di uno dei maggiori gruppi a livello globale nei settori dell'outdoor power equipment, delle pompe e del water jetting, e dei relativi componenti ed accessori, ha esaminato in data odierna i dati preliminari consolidati dell'esercizio 2017.

Il fatturato consolidato del Gruppo è stato di € 422,2 milioni, in crescita del 7,8% rispetto a € 391,9 milioni dell'esercizio 2016. La variazione di area di consolidamento ha contribuito per € 29,7 milioni.

Nel 2017 le vendite del settore Outdoor Power Equipment sono risultate in calo del 4,8% rispetto all'anno precedente. Il risultato è stato influenzato negativamente dalla scarsità di precipitazioni in gran parte dell'Europa, con riduzione dell'attività vegetativa delle piante e, di conseguenza, della domanda di macchine e attrezzature per la manutenzione del verde. Nel quarto trimestre si sono registrati segnali di ripresa con una crescita di fatturato del 3% rispetto al pari periodo dell'esercizio precedente.

Il settore Pompe e High Pressure Water Jetting è cresciuto complessivamente del 34,8%, grazie ad un incremento del 5,9% a livello organico ed all'apporto derivante dall'ingresso nell'area di consolidamento del Gruppo Lavorwash avvenuto nel secondo semestre.

Le vendite del settore Componenti e Accessori sono aumentate del 2,8%, con una performance positiva di tutte le linee di prodotto.

Il top management incontrerà la comunità finanziaria in occasione dell'European MidCap Event di Francoforte il 6 febbraio 2018. La presentazione a supporto sarà disponibile sul sito della società e sul meccanismo di stoccaggio eMarket Storage prima dell'inizio dell'evento.

Il dirigente preposto alla redazione dei documenti contabili societari, Aimone Burani, conferma che i dati di preconsuntivo qui esposti sono la migliore rappresentazione ad oggi disponibile dei risultati del Gruppo e che, pertanto, gli stessi potrebbero essere soggetti a limitate variazioni in sede di approvazione del progetto di bilancio che si terrà in data 16 marzo 2018.

Preliminary figures for the year 2017: consolidated sales to € 422.2 million

Bagnolo in Piano (RE), 31 January 2018 – The Board of Directors of Emak S.p.A. (MTA, STAR), parent company of one of world major groups working in the sectors of outdoor power equipment, pumps and high pressure water jetting, and of the related components and accessories, today reviewed the preliminary consolidated results for the financial year 2017.

Group consolidated sales turnover was € 422.2 million, an increase of 7.8% compared to € 391.9 million in 2016. The change in the scope of consolidation contributed for € 29.7 million

Sales of the Outdoor Power Equipment business decreased by 4.8% compared to last year. The result was negatively affected by the lack of precipitation in most of Europe, with a reduction of the vegetative activity of plants and, consequently, of the demand for machinery and equipment for the maintenance of green areas.

In the fourth quarter, there were signs of recovery with a turnover growth of 3% compared to the same period of the previous year.

The business Pumps and High Pressure Water Jetting grew overall by 34.8%, thanks to an organic increase of 5.9% and the contribution of the Lavorwash Group consolidation occurred in the second half.

Sales in the Components and Accessories sector increased by 2.8%, with a positive performance of all product lines.

The top management will meet the financial community at the European MidCap Event in Frankfurt on 6 February 2018. The supporting presentation will be available on the company's website and on the eMarket Storage storage mechanism before the start event.

Aimone Burani, the executive responsible for the preparation of the corporate accounting documents, confirms that the preliminary figures presented here are the best representation available today of the results of the Group and that, therefore, could be subject to limited changes during the approval of the draft financial statement, which will take place on March 16, 2018.
