Banca IFIS, successful placement of its inaugural senior unsecured preferred bond under EMTN programme

Mestre (Venice), 17 April 2018 – Today Banca IFIS (rating Fitch BB+, outlook stable) has successfully placed its inaugural 5-year senior unsecured preferred bond, for an amount of 300 million Euro.

The bond pays a fixed rate coupon of 2% and has an issue price of 99.231%. The transaction was characterized by a good level of diversification and granularity attracting interest by ca. 70 institutional investors with an allocation that reflects the following geographical breakdown: Italy (60%), UK & Ireland (28%), Germany & Austria (6%) France (3%) and others (3%). Allocation by type of investor is as follows: fund managers (48%), banks & private banks (46%), insurances (4%) and others (2%).

The bond, which is reserved to institutional investors in Italy and abroad with the exclusion of the United States of America, is issued off Banca IFIS S.p.A. EMTN Programme and will be listed in the regulated EU market of the Irish Stock Exchange. The expected rating of bond is BB+ by Fitch. BNP Paribas, Nomura and UniCredit acted as joint bookrunners.
