Dati preliminari dell'esercizio 2018: fatturato consolidato a € 453,7 milioni

Bagnolo in Piano (RE), 31 gennaio 2019 – Il Consiglio di Amministrazione di Emak S.p.A. (MTA, STAR), società a capo di uno dei maggiori gruppi a livello globale nei settori dell'outdoor power equipment, delle pompe e del water jetting, e dei relativi componenti ed accessori, ha esaminato in data odierna i dati preliminari consolidati dell'esercizio 2018.

Il fatturato consolidato del Gruppo è stato di € 453,7 milioni, in crescita del 7,5% rispetto a € 422,2 milioni dell'esercizio 2017. L'effetto è sostanzialmente conseguente alla variazione di area di consolidamento dovuta al contributo del Gruppo Lavorwash nel primo semestre dell'anno per € 39,3 milioni e all'uscita dal perimetro di Raico S.r.l. (ceduta in data 30 marzo 2018) che nel periodo aprile-dicembre 2017 aveva apportato un fatturato di € 9,5 milioni. A parità di area di consolidamento la variazione sarebbe stata positiva per lo 0,4%.

Nel 2018 le vendite del settore Outdoor Power Equipment sono risultate in calo del 1% rispetto all'esercizio precedente. Il risultato è stato influenzato da una stagione negativa per i prodotti da giardinaggio legata alle condizioni meteo sfavorevoli, in particolare in Europa. Da segnalare una leggera ripresa nel corso del quarto trimestre.

Il settore Pompe e High Pressure Water Jetting è cresciuto complessivamente del 31,9%, grazie a un incremento del 3,7% a livello organico e al consolidamento delle vendite dell'intero anno del Gruppo Lavorwash.

Le vendite del settore Componenti e Accessori sono diminuite del 9,7%, per la gran parte a causa dell'uscita dal perimetro di consolidamento di Raico S.r.l.. A parità di area, il calo sarebbe stato del 1,6%, principalmente per le minori vendite dei prodotti per il giardinaggio dovute alla stagione negativa sul mercato europeo.

Preliminary figures for the year 2018: consolidated sales at € 453.7 million

Bagnolo in Piano (RE), 31 January 2019 – The Board of Directors of Emak S.p.A. (MTA, STAR), parent company of one of world major groups working in the sectors of outdoor power equipment, pumps and high pressure water jetting, and of the related components and accessories, today reviewed the preliminary consolidated results for the financial year 2018.

Group consolidated sales turnover was € 453.7 million, an increase of 7.5% compared to € 422.2 million in 2017. The effect is essentially related to the change in the scope of consolidation due to the contribution of the Lavorwash Group in the first half of the year for € 39.3 million and the exit from the perimeter of Raico S.r.l. (sold on March 30, 2018) that in the period April-December 2017 had a turnover of € 9.5 million. On a like for like basis the variation would have been positive for 0.4%.

In 2018, the sales of the Outdoor Power Equipment sector were down by 1% compared to the previous year. The result was influenced by a negative season for gardening products due to unfavorable weather conditions, particularly in Europe. A slight recovery in the fourth quarter should be noted.

The Pumps and High Pressure Water Jetting sector grew by a total of 31.9%, thanks to a 3.7% increase at the organic level and the consolidation of the whole year sales of the Lavorwash Group.

Sales in the Components and Accessories sector decreased by 9.7%, largely due to the exit from the scope of consolidation of Raico Srl. On a like-for-like basis, the drop would have been 1.6%, mainly due to lower sales of gardening products due to the negative season on the European market.

Aimone Burani, the executive responsible for the preparation of the corporate accounting documents, confirms that the preliminary figures presented here are the best representation available today of the results of the Group and that, therefore, could be subject to limited changes during the approval of the draft financial statement, which will take place on March 14, 2019.
